2. Lightning protection pin type insulator
The patented puncture structure can penetrate the insulation layer of the wire installed in the slot to form an electrical connection; The unique ignition arc fork is closely connected with the upper end of the insulator through a bolt, and the other end is a discharge end, forming a discharge gap with the grounding electrode installed on the lower end of the insulator. And an insulation cover wraps all exposed parts of the upper end of the insulator except the arc fork discharge end.
Under normal conditions, the discharge gap of the surge insulator does not operate; Only when the lightning overvoltage exceeds the specified, the gap between the arc fork and the grounding electrode can be broken down, forming a short circuit channel. The connected power frequency arc will burn on the arc fork of the line clip, releasing the overvoltage energy to protect the wire from burns.
