China has a vast territory, and long-distance energy transmission will inevitably cross some high-altitude, snowy and icing areas, especially in the central and northern regions where low temperature, rain and snow are persistent. Transmission lines often encounter line icing, which leads to the decline of insulator electrical performance, prone to ice flash, and seriously endangers the safe operation of transmission lines. Serious icing flashover of insulator strings of transmission lines will cause frequent ice flashover tripping of insulator strings of transmission lines, power failure of a large number of lines, icing of towers and conductors, large-area tower collapse and power grid outage.

In view of the damage of electric porcelain insulators caused by icing, our company has specially set up a 15 person R & D and design innovation team, with a R & D site of more than 2000 square meters, more than 100 R & D equipment, and a total of more than 20 intellectual property rights, including 4 invention patents and 16 utility model patents.

Recently, the company has successfully developed a solar thermal switching electric thermal semiconductor coated ceramic membrane insulator, which solves the problem of insulator thermal energy melting ice to avoid ice pollution flashover, and protects the safety and reliability of power equipment components and grid line operation.

The new product adopts inorganic metal oxide (Fe2O3, MnO, CuO) micro powder and silver powder mixed with liquid ETV polymer silicone rubber to synthesize inorganic metal oxide ETV coating. Through the special solar lighting surface, the solar radiation energy projected on the metal oxide surface is collected, absorbed and converted into heat energy technology;

It integrates with the mechanism of electrothermal switching of metal semiconductor glaze nano coating ceramic film to achieve the win-win goal of solar photothermal and metal semiconductor glaze electrothermal switching, high efficiency and energy saving.
