High Voltage 100kn Disc Suspension Toughened Glass Insulator U100B

Short Description:

Glass insulator is a device used to support conductor and insulate it. It is made of glass. At present, tempered glass insulator is the most widely used in route. It is generally made of glass and porcelain, and it is one of the key components of high-voltage transmission line. Its performance directly affects the operation safety of the whole transmission line. Glass insulators are widely used because of the characteristics of zero value self breaking and easy maintenance.

Performance of glass insulator

1.1 Characteristics of components
The characteristics of disc-type suspension insulator elements shall conform to GB/T 7253.
1.2 Dimensional Deviation
The dimensions of the test insulators shall conform to the corresponding drawings, paying particular attention to any dimensions with special public requirements (e.g., specified structural height) and details affecting interchangeability (e.g., connection dimensions as specified in GB/T 4056).
A) Unless otherwise agreed, for all dimensions not marked with a specific deviation, the following deviations (d is the inspection dimension, in units; Mm);
Soil (0.04d+1.5) mm, when D ≤300mm and all lengths of creepage distance; ± (0.025d +6) mm, when D >300mm;
The deviation given above applies even if the creepage distance is specified as a nominal value of the stack small.
B) The structural height deviation of insulators is ± 0.024nh (n represents 6 insulators). For 330kV and above the use of the absolutely
Edge, the structural height deviation of 6 insulator strings shall not exceed ±19mm. C) The change gauge of the axial measuring device shall be set at 4% of the insulator's nominal diameter;
The change gauge for the radial measuring device is set at 3% of the insulator's nominal diameter.
1.3 Insulators
The appearance quality of the porcelain shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 28 of GBT 772-2005 (1.3) and GBT 1001.1-2003 (GBT 1001.1-2003). The surface of the porcelain insulator shall be free from warps, sand holes, bubbles, bumps, external objects and other defects.
The appearance quality of glass parts shall comply with JB/T 9678-1999 Chapter 4 and GB/T1001.1 -- 2003 Chapter 28. Insulator glass shall be free from cracks, seams, air bubbles, impurities and other defects, and shall be uniformly tempered on its surface. All exposed glass surfaces shall be light dispersive.
1.4 Iron cap and steel foot
The iron caps of insulators shall comply with JB/T 8178. Insulator pot foot shall comply with JB/T 9677. Caps and feet shall not be made by joining, welding, cold crimping or any other process involving more than one piece of material.
